2014 Kentucky Open
October 11th & 12th 2014

     THE KENTUCKY CHECKER TOURNAMENT will be held (Saturday and Sunday), October 11 & 12, 2014 at La Quinta Inn, 1751 Lexington Road, Richmond, Kentucky 40475 (map). There will be 7 rounds of two games each - four rounds Saturday beginning at 8:00 AM; three rounds Sunday, same start time. The La Quinta is furnishing the playing room free based on 15 players taking rooms in the motel; king or double queens rooms rent $58 plus tax per day for total $63.95. For reservations call 859-623-9121. Advise the clerk this is for the Kentucky Checker Tournament. Free continental breakfast, wireless high-speed internet, & outside swimming pool. Room will be held until October 1st. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant is adjacent to the motel.
